Music\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kinder und Tiere sind immer eine sichere Bank \u2013 hier gibt es gleich sieben Kinder. Sie geh\u00f6ren zum verwitweten Baron Georg von Trapp, sind zwischen f\u00fcnf und 16 Jahren alt, und ihr Vater sucht h\u00e4nderingend wieder mal eine Gouvernante. Denn die haben bisher alle das Handtuch geworfen, weil sie mit der Rasselbande nicht fertig wurden. Nun soll die junge Maria Rainer es richten, die als Novizin ihre Zukunft aber eigentlich hinter Klostermauern sieht. Sie gewinnt die Herzen der Kinder wie im Flug, weil sie mit ihnen singt und musiziert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Klingt ein bisschen wie \u201eMary Poppins\u201c, ist aber ganz anders. Denn der Baron und Maria entdecken nach einigen Turbulenzen (darunter die Aufl\u00f6sung der Verlobung von Georg und Elsa Schrader) ihre Liebe zueinander und heiraten. Aber es herrschen, genau wie im Musical \u201eCabaret\u201c, schlechte Zeiten: Man schreibt das Jahr 1938 und gerade hat der Anschluss \u00d6sterreichs an Nazi-Deutschland stattgefunden. Sogar Franz und Frau Schmidt, der Diener und die Haush\u00e4lterin des Barons, sowie der jugendliche Verehrer der \u00e4ltesten Tochter Liesl gefallen sich in \u201eSieg Heil\u201c-Rufen. Die Trapp-Familie nimmt noch als Chor an einem Musikwettbewerb teil und gewinnt sogar, aber dann ist es h\u00f6chste Zeit, \u00d6sterreich zu verlassen, was mit Hilfe der Nonnen gelingt. Am Schluss sieht man die New Yorker Freiheitsstatue mit einer Gitarre im Arm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Komponist Richard Rodgers, eine der pr\u00e4gendsten Gestalten des amerikanischen Musicals, schuf zusammen mit Liedtexter Oscar Hammerstein II Klassiker wie \u201eOklahoma!\u201c, \u201eCarousel\u201c, \u201eSouth Pacific\u201c oder \u201eThe King and I\u201c. \u201eThe Sound of Music\u201c entstand 1959 und wurde in der Verfilmung mit Julie Andrews (1965) zum Welterfolg. In Deutschland war eine der Vorlagen, der 1956 erschienene Film \u201eDie Trapp-Familie\u201c mit Ruth Leuwerik und Hans Holt, ein gro\u00dfer Erfolg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery sich als Renner der laufenden Spielzeit erweisen. Regisseurin Katja Wolff gelingt eine stimmige Produktion, die mit viel Gef\u00fchl direkt ins Herz geht und auch mit feinem Witz versehen ist, etwa wenn die Nonnen ihrer Lebensfreude Ausdruck geben, als w\u00e4ren wir in \u201eSister Act\u201c. Die Inszenierung hat viele Meriten, sie zeigt auch Hoffnung und menschliche W\u00e4rme auf. Aber allein schon wie Wolff und Choreograf Thomas Helmut Heep die Bewegungsabl\u00e4ufe der Kinder arrangiert haben, ist sehenswert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das B\u00fchnenbild von Saskia Wunsch mit seinen gr\u00fcnen, gerafften Vorh\u00e4ngen, mit riesigen Edelwei\u00dfbl\u00fcten und einem \u00fcber Treppenstufen erreichbaren \u201eKommandostand\u201c f\u00fcr den Baron, von dem er Kinder und Personal mittels Trillerpfeife dirigiert, ist schlicht, aber sch\u00f6n anzusehen. Die einzelnen Songs und ihre h\u00e4ufigen Reprisen kommen mit Gyuseong Lee am Pult des Oldenburgischen Staatorchesters bestens zur Geltung, so etwa der Musikunterricht mit \u201eDo-Re-Mi\u201c, das hoffnungsvolle \u201eMy Favorite Things\u201c, das Duett der Teenager \u201eSixteen Going on Seventeen\u201c, das etwas schnulzige \u201eEdelwei\u00df\u201c oder das hymnische \u201eClimb Ev\u2019ry Mountain\u201c. Letzteres ist das absolute Herzst\u00fcck der gesamten Musik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als Maria nimmt Friederike Zeidler sofort f\u00fcr sich ein, mit ihrer jugendlichen Ausstrahlung und klarer, sch\u00f6ner Stimme ist sie ein Sonnenschein und steht unangefochten im Mittelpunkt. Als Baron von Trapp bringt Nicky Wuchinger viel Pers\u00f6nlichkeit ein. Seine Wandlung vom autorit\u00e4ren Familienoberhaupt zum verst\u00e4ndnisvollen Partner \u00fcberzeugt, seine Gesangsleistung (\u201eEdelwei\u00df\u201c) ist akzeptabel. Die weiteren Rollen sind u.a. mit Paul Brady als opportunistischem Musikmanager, Carolin Scholz als weiser und g\u00fctiger Mutter Oberin und Gabriela Ryffel als Elsa Schrader bestens besetzt.
