lange hat es gedauert, bis \u201eKristina fr\u00e5n Duvem\u00e5la\u201c, das zweite Musical von Benny Andersson und Bj\u00f6rn Ulvaeus, seine deutschsprachige Erstauff\u00fchrung feiern konnte. Es ist der Initiative des in Sachen Musical unter der Intendanz von Markus Dietze \u00e4u\u00dferst r\u00fchrigen Theaters Koblenz zu verdanken, dass das Werk, das von nicht wenigen als die k\u00fcnstlerisch anspruchsvollste Arbeit der beiden ABBA-Macher angesehen wird, mehr als 30 Jahre nach der Urauff\u00fchrung an der Oper Malm\u00f6 nun erstmals au\u00dferhalb der skandinavischen Grenzen in einer szenischen Produktion zu sehen ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eKristina\u201c, so der kompakte deutschsprachige Titel, ist ein zutiefst bewegendes St\u00fcck Musiktheater, das die dramatische Geschichte einer Auswanderin nach Amerika erz\u00e4hlt, die in ihrem Inneren jedoch nie dort ankommt. Dramaturg Andreas Wahlberg, der die Idee f\u00fcr die deutschsprachige Erstauff\u00fchrung nach Koblenz brachte, steuert dem Werk einige erkl\u00e4rende Dialogszenen bei, um dem deutschen Publikum, das nicht unbedingt mit dem schwedischen Auswanderer-Epos vertraut ist, das Verst\u00e4ndnis zu erleichtern. Auch Udo Brinkmann hat bei der sehr gut gelungenen \u00dcbertragung der Songtexte ins Deutsche stets den Zugang f\u00fcr das hiesige Theaterpublikum im Blick: So \u00fcbersetzt er \u201eAstrakan\u201c \u2013 eine in Schweden aufgrund der literarischen Vorlage nahezu legend\u00e4re Apfelsorte \u2013 schlicht mit \u201eApfelbaum\u201c, was dessen symbolischer Bedeutung f\u00fcr Kristinas unheilbare Sehnsucht nach ihrem Heimatland auf uneitle und pragmatische Weise gen\u00fcgend Rechnung tr\u00e4gt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped Koblenz konzipierte Produktion nun doch in der Interims-Unterbringung des Theaterzeltes auf dem Plateau der Festung Ehrenbreitstein stattfinden muss, hat Ausstatter Christian Binz wirklich Erstaunliches geleistet und gro\u00dfe, eindr\u00fcckliche Bilder kreiert. In der Mitte des scheunenartig gestalteten B\u00fchnenraums hat er eine Versenkung geschaffen, die sich je nach dramaturgischer Anforderung wandelbar als karges schwedisches Ackerland oder als Schiff nutzen l\u00e4sst. Im zweiten Akt findet dort ein Weizenfeld Platz, das sich durch das Zusammenspiel einer schlichten Plane mit den gro\u00dfartigen Videoprojektionen von Georg Lendorff schnell in eine Schneelandschaft oder eine sattgr\u00fcne Pr\u00e4riefl\u00e4che mit Wildgras verwandeln kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regisseur Markus Dietze erfindet das Rad nicht neu und erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte eindringlich und stringent. Im Vergleich zur Originalinszenierung gibt er den niederschmetternden Szenen \u2013 wie etwa dem Tod von Robert \u2013 sp\u00fcrbar mehr Raum zum Atmen. Das verst\u00e4rkt deren tragische Wirkung und nimmt dem anschlie\u00dfenden Szenenwechsel die abrupte Sch\u00e4rfe. Einzig der Szene um die Erinnerung an die verstorbene Tochter Anna zu Beginn des zweiten Aktes fehlt es an emotionaler Durchschlagskraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musikalisch gl\u00e4nzt die Produktion \u00fcber alle Ma\u00dfen: Mit 40 Musikerinnen und Musikern des Staatsorchesters Rheinische Philharmonie ist der Klangk\u00f6rper unter der musikalischen Leitung von Karsten Huschke sogar \u00fcppiger besetzt als die Helsinki-Fassung des St\u00fcckes, die Grundlage f\u00fcr die Lizenzvergabe dieser Auff\u00fchrung ist. Die vier Hauptpartien sind jeweils doppelt besetzt. Bei der Premiere stehen Elena Franke als Kristina, Tobias Bieri als ihr Mann Karl Oskar, Denis Riffel als dessen Bruder Robert und Isabel Mascarenhas als Kristinas Freundin Ulrika auf der B\u00fchne. Sowohl in gesanglicher als auch in darstellerischer Hinsicht k\u00f6nnen sie allesamt mit detailreichen und tiefgr\u00fcndigen Rolleninterpretationen \u00fcberzeugen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Finalnummer zeigt die reale Welt und Kristinas Innenleben parallel zueinander: W\u00e4hrend Kristinas Familie im B\u00fchnenhintergrund an ihrem Sterbebett verweilt, verspricht sie im vorderen Teil der B\u00fchne Karl Oskar, bei ihrem geliebten Apfelbaum auf ihn zu warten.
